Solomon’s Proverbs: Marriage
Could your marriage be better? Is America deep in debt? Marriage was not conceived by cavemen hunched around a fire eating a rabbit they killed with a boomerang. God designed it and arranged the first one between Adam and Eve. King Solomon was married 1000 times. By God inspiring the King, Proverbs has some ideas to help your marriage!
Marriage Proverbs of Solomon: Audio Commentaries
Proverbs 31:30
“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the LORD,
she shall be praised.”
Marry a great wife and your marriage will be great! There is one fool-proof mark of a great wife, which women should acquire and men require. Beauty or favors do not cut it. Without this trait she will disappoint and cause grief.
Proverbs 5:16
“Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad,
and rivers of waters in the streets.”
A big, quality family is a great goal for a couple. The joy of meals together, completed projects, individual successes, and being able to accomplish more than others are just a few reasons to desire and train children together.
Proverbs 11:16
“A gracious woman retaineth honour:
and strong men retain riches.”
How can only ten words identify great women and men? Incredible! A great woman has a trait that will honor her perpetually, and a great man can be identified by a simple rule. Proverbs like this surpass all human writings. Grasp it.
Proverbs 18:22
“Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the LORD.”
Where does a good spouse come from? If you do not know, how will you find one, and how will you give thanks for the benefit? Wisdom includes learning the origin and nature of things. You need to learn about marriage.
Proverbs 5:19
“Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe;
let her breasts satisfy thee at all times;
and be thou ravished always with her love.”
Great marital sex is more a choice than a spouse with a great body or creative technique. You can be satisfied and ravished, if you want to be. You can find the thrill you had in the beginning by doing the things you used to do.
Proverbs 12:4
“A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband:
but she that maketh ashamed
is as rottenness in his bones.”
Choosing a spouse is crucial. The difference between a virtuous and odious wife is enormous. One will be a crown to you before others; the other will kill you on the inside, and others will know the marital pain you endure.
Proverbs 21:19
“It is better to dwell in the wilderness,
than with a contentious and an angry woman.”
Being single for life is okay! It beats marrying an odious woman! Do not marry the first one that will say, “Yes,” because it is too easy for her to cover her faults while dating. If you cheat here, you need a hideout in the woods!
Proverbs 15:17
“Better is a dinner of herbs where love is,
than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.”
How can a dinner of only spinach be better than a filet mignon? Easy, add love! The best thing you can do for your marriage is love. It is not money, house, cars, or better sex. It is love, and love is a choice. You can add it today!
Proverbs 31:31
“Give her of the fruit of her hands;
and let her own works praise her in the gates.”
Selfish husbands should sleep alone! A good man will honor a good wife, and there are two ways among others that God expects it to be done. Both will accrue blessings to the man and to the marriage. Learn about it right here.
Proverbs 10:22
“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich,
and he addeth no sorrow with it.”
Every marriage needs a better blessing than a pastor or father can ever give. Most blessings are mere light words, but there is one far better. Do you know what it can do for a marriage? Do you know how to get it? You can here.
