Introduction

We live in the perilous times of the last days prophesied by Paul. God’s warning to His ministers of grave danger is being fulfilled in our generation (II Timothy 3:1 – 4:5).

Forget world wars, economic collapse, famines, epidemics, or bloody persecutions. These events pose little danger to God’s saints. In fact, they usually molded believers of great faith, who were willing to pay any price rather than deny Jesus Christ, truth, or godliness.

The peril at hand is carnal and compromising Christianity, for its subtle power to infect and destroy the saints and churches of Jesus Christ. The kingdom of Jesus Christ is under a satanic assault of false doctrine, ungodly living, and a flood of knowledge without truth.

Most professing Christians today have only a form of godliness without the power of changed lives, and they love pleasure more than God. False teachers everywhere resist the truth, deceive, and are deceived. Though information and learning are increasing geometrically, truth and godliness are almost extinct.

The time has come that men will not endure sound doctrine. With lusts craving entertainment and anything but truth, they promote teachers with fables to tickle their itching ears. Bible doctrine, holy living, and dogmatic preaching are rejected as being beneath their refined dignity. Faithful ministers holding true to God and His Word are ridiculed and persecuted.

Paul’s cure is simple – PREACH THE WORD. And he wanted it preached in an insistent, pressing, and urgent manner regardless of the preferences or trends of hearers. For the only protection from this present danger is the bold declaration of the God-inspired Scriptures. Jesus Christ’s faithful ministers armed with the Word of God are fully equipped to identify, condemn, and defeat this effeminate apostasy.

Hear what God thinks of false teachers and their fables from Jeremiah 23:28-32.

The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

This website’s name is taken from Romans 3:4, for we are committed to the Word of God absolutely and unconditionally. Our motto is as follows:

God said it; that settles it!

We believe . . . the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge, and without which there is no truth or understanding.

We believe . . . the Holy Scriptures are perfect and the final authority for all matters of both life and eternity.

We believe . . . all the feelings, opinions, and traditions of men are inherently worthless and highly dangerous.

We believe . . . humanistic education, the information explosion, and the rejection of God have almost eliminated truth from the earth.

We believe . . . only men born again by the Spirit of God and studying His Word according to His will can see the truth.

We believe . . . this Word is to be studied diligently and according to its own internal rules of interpretation.

We believe . . . the certain truth of God should be declared boldly and plainly on all matters without compromise or apology.

We believe . . . the Internet is a witty invention from God for publishing His absolute and final authority through the whole earth.

We humbly submit ourselves and this website as your servants for the glory of God and the salvation of your souls in these perilous times.
