Bible Guidelines For Effectual Prayer

 

 

 

1. PRAY OBEDIENTLY. Fear God and be righteous in conduct before Him and His Word.

2. PRAY GLORIOUSLY. Delight in God and glory in His person, nature, and mighty works.

3. PRAY BOLDLY. Be aggressive and confident with God as His dear child and in Christ.

4. PRAY FERVENTLY. Be sincere, passionate, and extremely earnest in soul during prayer.

5. PRAY FAITHFULLY. Be fully persuaded in your mind that God is able to do anything.

6. PRAY PERSISTENTLY. Be patient and diligent to continue in prayer without ceasing.

7. PRAY INTELLIGENTLY. Know God, His promises, and godly reasoning with Him.

8. PRAY SUBMISSIVELY. Be submissive to God’s will regardless of your own desires.

9. PRAY SPIRITUALLY. Keep yourself in the Spirit and pray as the Spirit moved others.

10. PRAY ACTIVELY. Be ready and willing to do all that you can reasonably do for yourself.
