This effeminate generation does not compare important issues of income, assets, winning, or losing. Yet God in the Bible compares and ranks all men, for He commends and rewards winners and ridicules and punishes losers. Are you the best you can be?

The N.T. indicates animosity between Jews and Gentiles. The Jewish situation of some elect blinded for Gentile conversions is dealt with wisely by an olive tree for the Gentiles to realize their blessed and vulnerable position and to rightly respect Israel.

The story of Hannah and Samuel is well known by Bible readers. But there is wisdom to consider this woman and her commitment to have Samuel ready to worship the LORD and to serve the tabernacle when he was weaned. What kind of a parent are you?

What sovereign wisdom of God to turn the Gentiles for their immediate benefit and in turn a delayed benefit by elect Jews. Learn the humility, fear, evangelism, and thanks this passage teaches. The gospel of reconciliation for Gentiles is precious.

II Corinthians 5:18-21 teaches two precious phases of reconciliation.
The war is over! How did Hiroo Onoda waste 30 years? Jesus went where no man could or dared and made peace between God and men. He sent preachers to tell you the war is over, so you can end your vain religious works and gain assurance of eternal life.

Verse 11 of Romans 11 is the crucial verse of this chapter. What is the antecedent of the pronouns in the verse? The chapter now deals with elect Jews blinded to the gospel, allowing the gospel to be redirected to Gentiles during this transitional generation.

Daniel 9:24 lists six glorious things God determined to do to Israel.
Text is often assigned to a future millennial kingdom of the Jews - thus a Jewish fable. But most saints for the last 2000 years see the glory of Jesus Christ in this remarkable prophecy. There are elements of judgment and of salvation in this precious text.

Gambling is rapidly growing worldwide, as online and mobile gambling makes it ever more convenient, much like porn. The Bible lays out many principles of ethics and conduct that condemn this wicked activity. Do you hate it? Can you prove it from a Bible?

11:1-10 for the election and blinding of national Israel to eternal life.
Though God turned from the Jews to the Gentiles (10:19-21), He had not rejected all Jews from eternal life (11:1-2). There was a remnant as in Elijah's day by grace (11:3-6). The elect were saved, but the rest were blinded (11:7), as scripture said (11:8-10).

The Bible is God's word. In fact, it is God's words. How did we get God's words in a book written by men? God gave men His words by external and internal dictating. You should hate paraphrases or any alteration to God's inspired words. Will you read it?

Why Do You Live?

Life is only good and important if you have the right purpose for it.
It is a shame that many worry about health and other factors, though they do not have a godly reason to live longer. If it is far better to depart and be with Christ, why fuss about living longer? Get a grip and identify why you should live? David will help with Psalm 27:4.

God paid the price of His Son to buy us back from divine justice.
A ransom is the price to redeem a person from prison or condemnation or required by a kidnapper to return a child. You need a ransom desperately, because you are under eternal condemnation. Jesus paid the ransom for you, and God accepted it, freeing you.
